Banks earlier books were the absolute best. From my perspective her latest trilogy was a big disappointment. I agree with what most of the COMMENTATORS are saying. I made it to pg 201....the rest I skim through. I am a avid reader of different genres....and I have notice that EROTIC / BDSM books tend to follow a similar pattern... that is becoming quit boring. One more month and then i'll take a break from EROTIC / BDSM books for a while. I think i'll do a re-read of my past favorite books.

Phrases repetitive, situations the same. I really did try but stopped at 190 pages.

It was an ok read. A little unrealistic in my opinion. I liked the first in the series better. I was looking forward to Jace's story, but this was kind of disappointing.

Book 2 of 3 about Jace and Bethany (preceded by Rush and followed by Burn) This book was so unrealistic that it really bothered me; it was too much. Again a lot of BDSM and it got really boring. I had to skim through some "steamy" parts because there were too many of them. This book could have been 200 pgs and not 400.

Loved it! I thought it was a great story. Very heart felt and but erotic at the same time. Two people come together with broken pasts but Bethany has a lot going on. Jace is the knight in shining armor.

I found this book when searching on my local library website for something to read. The story line in general is good but after reading Fifty Shades of Grey and Sylvia Day's Crossfire series I'm bored with erotic fiction novels. I loved reading about Bethany, Mia and Gabe. I'd say they're my favorite characters. The one thing that bothered me the most and this is the reason I will not be finishing this book is the character Jace. He was too annoying and I hated that he controlled Bethany.

"There's only one world. We live in the same goddamn world, Bethany. More important, you're there. I see you. I want you. You're here in front of me. If that doesn't put you solidly in my fucking world, then I don't know what does."
