I must applaud the author on writing two extremely impressive and fully enjoyable books such as Leviathan and Behemoth--and then writing a third just as brilliantly. And of course the illustrator too, who somehow miraculously captured a world with so much detail so well. To me, the best part wasn't even the characters, but a setting full of the most ingenious devices and the most unbelievable creatures smashed together in a story I am now going to read again.

Perfect ending to the series! All three (Leviathan, Behemoth, Goliath) are awesome, really well written, and exciting. I love Alek and Deryn's characters! Even though it was obvious, I was so happy when they finally got together <3

This was a great finish to the series. I really enjoyed reading it but I was a bit dissapointed. It was not as well written as Leviathan and Behemoth (The first wo books in teh series). Goliath is the last book and if you waant to finish the triolgy properly, you should read it.

Excellent trilogy--this is the conclusion, book 1 is `Leviathan`. The war continues, secrets are coming out, big decisions have to be made...It has been a LONG time since I`ve read something that makes me excited to go home and read until a ridiculous hour, squee idiotically when finished (`OK brain, make this thing last, ration it, gotta make it last...`--then 480 pages gone in less than 48 hours!), and get so attached to the characters that now that it`s over I`m kind of in mourning. Totally buying this series. In hardcover.

Great book! I bought it as I couldn't stand being on some waitlist with a billion people in front of me. :D A wonderful ending which satisfied me completely. Alek and Deryn are beautifully crafted characters. I recommend this book to ALL. I hope Scott Westerfeld writes more books in the same setting. The plot, with the beasties and clankers, is ingenius. (:

This book suffers from the same problem the other two had. An awsome concept, but nothing awsome comes of it! I would have liked to actually see a battle or SOMETHING.

The final book of the Leviathan trilogy. Very enjoyable steampunk story spanning three books with a good conclusion. And beautiful illustrations throughout.

Alek: What do you see? Deryn: Only the four largest riggers coming up on the ratlines to rescue you us. It must be barking nice to be a prince.
