I found the first 2 books in this series hard to put down. This one was interesting just not as captivating as the first 2. I will read the rest in the series.

Loved this entire series and it has inspired another idea on my bucket list. Not to walk across America, but to intentionally visit a group of towns in an area very slowly when I retire.

I actually prefer his second book... 3rd book does not have that many interesting character people (in my opiniong). Hope the next book is better!! (Summer 2013, long wait!)

The third book in the series is great! As Alan goes on his journey, he meets people along the way and it changes who he is. Can't wait until Book #4 is out.
