I have read a lot about climbing Mt Everest so this being a fictionalized account just didn't hold my attention.

I knew I would like this book and I wasn't disappointed. I loved it! It partners perfectly with Into the Silence by Wade Davis, one of my favourite reads from 2012. Looking forward to more from Tanis Rideout!

I loved this book. Especially the duality of the story line. I was so engaged in the story that i spent a lot of time during the read on you tube watching video of and about the Everest expedition.

Absolutely gripping and really well written. I am not particularly interested in the whole Everest thing but got it because it was in the Globe's best books section. Loved it!
