Johnny Worricker is a long-serving MI5 officer. His boss and best friend Benedict Baron dies suddenly, leaving behind him an inexplicable file, threatening the stability of the organization. Meanwhile, a seemingly chance encounter with Johnny's striking next-door neighbor and political activist Nancy Pierpan seems too good to be true. Johnny is forced to walk out of his job, and then out of his identity to find out the truth.

Excellent series- top notch writing stellar acting all round. All three parts are equally as good.

Why - WHY do they think Bill Nighy works as a romantic lead, especially to girls 20 years or more younger? He's a great actor, in the right role. Anyways that's irrelevant, this was a supremely dull 'spy' movie.

Interesting and complex spy/political thriller. Marginally too complex: it's hard to figure out why he is in such a difficult position at the end, despite protective actions. Nighy's acting is good, although his part is written inconsistently in places, so that it is a bit hard to make out what his character is really supposed to be.
