The Valley of Silence is a forbidding place for the battle of all battles, but the circle continues to prepare through magic and a few early stakeouts that test their strength individually and as a team. Moira finds herself playing the roles of warrior and royal, as she follows the tradition of her people and prepares to take the crown before leading them into battle. And if that isn't enough, she finds her thoughts turning to Cian more often than not.

Used to be a good writer; now is trying to hard to remain contemporary; agree with the comment about "the kitchen sink"; too bad - really awful.

The last book of this trilogy did not dissapoint.
To think that a few years ago I stayed clear of the Nora Roberts book thinking they were the cheesy romance novel à la Harlequin - boy... I have to thank my friend who introduce me to her with the Key trilogy. The heroines are often strong women coming into their own and once again in this one it is the case.
Give the entire trilogy a go - you won't be dissapointed - good summer read - you won't put it down.

Good grief - in terms of supernatural phenomena, she throws everything at you except the kitchen sink. Too far into the supernatural realm for this fan.
