At a stage coach station where the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers merge, an impending storm forces the stage to stop so that its passengers can take shelter. This book is not what I expected it to be as a western. It was ok but just a little all over the place. I will read another western in hopes it will be better written than this one.
