I can't wait to read more of this funny and engaging series, love the narrator too. In a case of mistaken identity, widow Emily Pollifax achieves her ambition of becoming a spy. It's Miss Marple recast as an American housewife in the Cold War era.

This book came recommended by a colleague, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was not just another formulaic suspense novel. The elderly CIA agent, Emily Pollifax, is enchanting and resourceful even when she doesn't mean to be. The plot was interesting and well thought out, and it made a great light read.
