An amazing true story that captures the training of an elite unit to perform a dangerous mission against North Korea's leader. The unit's trainees are tough gang members from South Korea. The government changes its mind and orders the elimination of the unit. I recommend it to anyone that likes historical/military films It is excellent.

Set in 1968 this film is based on a true story of a group of South Korean criminals offered the a second chance in life by training on an undisclosed Island with a special ops group. Their mission is to assassinate the President of South Korea. Its an interesting story and one I wasn't familiar with. Great performances and action sequences throughout the film. Its a little long in part but it is worth wading through.

Perhaps the single greatest product of Asian cinema, and I don't make that statement lightly. 5/5
