Witty dialogue and a surprise ending doesn't make up for how slow the first two hours were.
By the time this movie reveals who Slevin really is,it's too little too late for me to care about him,much less the rest of the characters in this sleep inducing,but kind of slick Gangster puzzle overall.It takes more than a lot of violence in a really violent movie for me to care about that violent movie period,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great movie. Sort of a crime syndicate assassination caper film but very very funny and well done. Great dialogue and characters. Almost has a Tarentino feel to it. The story is great and takes twists and turns to a surprising ending. Loved it.
Expensive, stylized revenge drama / gangster film that's a cross between a comic book & a detective novel. Too predictable & formulaic (versus inventive) for my taste--but fans of the genres from which it derives might love it.
