Far better than the Quest, but not in the same league as River God, Wilbur Smith really makes history come alive again through the eyes of Taita. The descriptions of battle are not for the squeamish. The narration is excellent.

Terrific audio book.Story performer is Mike Grady,He does a remarkable reading .The authors research into ancient history is very vivid.
