Amelia and Jonathon Sawyer own several restaurants in Cleveland, including Noodlecat which is "an awesome mash-up of Japanese-American noodles". This cookbook focuses on recipes that kids like and can help prepare. A favorite family activity is having a ramen party where the only rule is that every bowl must contain at least two vegetables. As the authors point out, every culture has some form of noodles. Lot of noodle lore and trivia are scattered throughout the lavishly illustrated book.
