Better than the previous book but the action doesn't pick up until the middle. Still a un romp. Most ver used word... 'totes '. Looking for some fun? grab your favorite drink/treat and have a shot every time the author uses the word.

This installment was all over the place. The plot wasn't as tight as usual, and by this point, there are so many characters and so many previous plots to remember that a fair amount of the book gets taken up with reminding readers who everyone is/ what happened in previous novels.

Author borrowed Tom Clancy, Six million dollar man, Bionic Woman, S.H.I.E.L.D, Avengers initiative, B-movie horror and Ken Doll & made her own twist. Most of the action within Washington DC including "rustic" Camp David. Nice transition book toward galactic membership. Chuckled at Gustav Drax less of a super villain & more inadvertent cultural faux pas happy visitor. I feel a bit sorry on the villain of not getting heart's desire.
