"Build a musical bridge for children to welcome, understand, and appreciate the similarities and the differences between their lives and others. Children everywhere may share the same perspective, or their perspectives may be richly different. Unique songs and rhythms help kids to reflect and be open to acceptance, cultural sensitivity, and respect as they enjoy diverse sounds and ideas."--Container.

Although I had high hopes, I found this to be one of the most annoying children's CDs to which I've ever listened. Made it through three songs. And...to include a Cinco de Mayo song? Talk about being culturally unaware. The weird voices put me over the edge. This is the only truly negative review I've ever written. Perhaps other folks would appreciate the CD, although it's hard to fathom. Particularly if you actually have listened to music from other countries/cultures.
