Not necessary to be a Vanity Fair fan to savour
This work- but it helps.
Tina Brown chronicles her ascent in
the magazine universe, from a bold start ‘across the pond’
to her noisy bite of the Big Apple.
Taking the wheel at Vanity Fair and The New Yorker in the Conde
Nast constellation, Brown hires the best talent and collaboratively
raises the roof in readership and sales.
Her stories are juicy.
We learn an “A” Lister’s goal is to be on the cover, but not
Inside, under the sheets.
Her own story is a good sell- just like the rest of the book.
