If you're not a huge fan of animated films than I would not suggest this one for you. The animation is more abstract than two dimensional and at times the colors bled/blurred the lines of the scenes which may be pretty to look at in a painting but I found hard follow in this film, which is also subtitled and made following the story, for me anyway, much more difficult.

Wow! This was amazing. The artwork so interesting, that I would like several prints.
The story is a great re-imagining of a Bros Grimm tale, (or hands, as it would be). The original Grimm tales were just that, Grim with bloody violence, ominous atmosphere and the usual French take on nudity (relaxed). I would not show this to the to the little kiddies. It has been an enjoyably Artistic year, with the wonderful moving-painting of "Loving Vincent" and this hand-drawn joy. Of the short film Bonuses, definitely see the first "Daphne" Highly recommended film!
