This book was hard to put down, the author Lorinda, also the mom, did a great job in letting us feel what she was going through, the day her daughter was kidnapped in Somalia, she tells her story how she fought for 460 days to bring her home to Alberta Canada.

If you've read Amanda Lindhout's book "A House in the Sky" about her kidnapping, this account by her mother will fill in the holes by describing what was going on back at home while Amanda's family struggled to free her. But beware, both books are very well-written, very descriptive, and each is heart-rending.
