Liked the plot twists and boyfriend did not fall asleep so that is enough for 4 stars
She was fine, almost very good. But the movie was for us very confusing. We must have been tired because we did not understand who was bad and who was good. I have been watching movies for years and I am very proud on how I can figure out what is going on but not on this one. I just cannot give it more than the two.
It just a so-so action movie. Nothing far than expected. Michael Dogulas, John Malkovich and Toni Collete is almost as useless in the movie
I really enjoyed this film. There is quite a bit of great acting - although Noomi Rapace, John Malkovich and Michael Douglas seem to have a type they have a hard time acting away from, but it plays for their characters well. Some "twists" that are pretty easy to see coming - but a few choice moments I did not expect. Some good action. Toni Collette, Orlando Bloom and Tosin Cole were all great. If this became a series, I would be interested in the sequel. A good background and set up for a character and intelligence world she inhabits. The action was pretty good, with a focus on story and not car chases and explosions, which I prefer. All told, I gave it 3.5 stars because the story was great, pacing was good and the film was definitely enjoyable, but some of it was a bit cliche and you can see the "twists" coming. If you like spy thrillers, and want a decent movie to watch for a movie night, this is worth giving a try in my opinion.
I really enjoyed this film. Left me wanting more.
If you like femme fatale spy films like "Salt 2010" or "Atomic Blonde 2017", you should enjoy this as well though with lesser quality in actions and level of intrigue. Very entertaining.
Just ok not a great movie.
More proof that Hollywood doesn't know what to do with women. If she isn't a sex object, a token female, or a dragon lady, then write her as a male character (preferably the most base and disgusting type) and the cast a woman. Stupid and utterly forgettable waste of 90 minutes.
She's almost a female, "Arnold S."
It is difficult for me to objectively rate this movie: John Malkovich always seems to play the same character, but Noomi Rapace is the star, and since she resembles my mother who perished when I was 4-years old; I love watching her in any movie she appears. [Ms. Rapace is half Swedish and half Roma, my mom was half Norwegian and half Roma.]
This plot is a variant on Three Days of the Condor, and it is interesting in parts, although filled with the predictable Corporate/G-speak.
Overall, I like anything in which Noomi stars.
