Good story. Realistic portrayal of the devastating effects of the tornado on both the landscape and the lives of the people affected by it. Vivid imagery. Characters full of depth and history of their own.
I usually enjoy experiencing life through the characters in novels, but this one had a bit too much churning of the mind as the characters navigated their lives both before, and in the aftermath, of the tornado. I found myself saying "enough already; let's get on with the story."
