Add a CommentThis book follows Breezy Lin, who is half Chinese and bisexual. Oh, and she also happens to be dead.
Murdered a year ago, Breezy starts off the book by crawling out of her own grave. She soon finds out that she can tell who has a murderous past and she is determined to find answers to her questions.
Most of this book is about Breezy finding her new place in this world. About her coming to terms with her new existence, her lost dreams, and the fact that she can never talk to her family again.
The writing was compelling and the atmosphere was enthralling. I liked the looks we got into Breezy's past, even as we followed alongside her into this new and dangerous world.
I actually really liked this book!
The start (The first two chapters) were a little boring. But it gets way better.
A dark story with plot twist all over.
It was fun to read.
LOVED THIS BOOK. Finished it in less than a day & immediately followed the author on twitter. I can only hope that she graces bookstores with more soon.
