I like all the Dr. Seuss DVD's. I recommend this for all ages. It is not too violent or sexual for kids. It has moral lessons for children.

My 10 year old loved it but my 6 and 4 year old found them a little scary.

For adult, the cheap filming studio is a real turnoff! It's as good as a highschool stage! For children, however this could be an enchanting movie. They would like it.
For positive points, the acting of main actors are quite respectable and good. I particularly like its music and a scene with a simple but well coordinated Tango dance.
It could compare to Disney's production if it pay more attention (and money) to the filming stage.
