Now several books into this series, I am starting to find the characters less quirky and fun. The southern stereotype of women being so friendly and nice o your face but trash-talking you behind your back is getting old. If Miss Julia is really as self-centered and not nice as she says she is, Sam would not like her as much as he does. I'm getting a bit tired of that too. I have put the next book on hold and will give it another try, but I'm losing some interest here.
