2004 live album (recorded in Chicago and Toronto) by the great Neko Case, who may have started as "alt-country" (I kinda hate that term), but cannot be confined to one genre. Aside from her own songs, there are well-chosen covers of songs by Loretta Lynn ("Rated X"), the Shangri-Las ("Train from Kansas City"), and the traditional "Wayfaring Stranger." If you're more interested in her indie pop side, check out her work with the New Pornographers.
Best I've heard in many years.
A wonderful live album. They are all great but 'Hex' in particular soars.
