This is a 2005 documentarty produced for a PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) Tv program.
Aquariums offer visitors a chance to get a close-up view of exotic sea creatures.
These exhibits, however, tell onlt half the story.
Behind the scenes of these complex aquariums are hundreds of biologist and other sepcialists working to save many of these amazing animals from extinction.
The film features stories from four of North America's greatest aquariums.
It is a remarkable and fascinating portrait of those life-saving-and-viewing places.
