I loved this story. The reverse of the male/female roles made for a very enjoyable read. Royce has loved Naomi from the first moment he met her and has been trying everything he could think of to get her on a date or even in the same room with him but she has ignored all his phone called until she is hired by his mother she believes to plan her lavish birthday party. Its then she finds out she work with Royce to arrange all the details (thanks to Royce) she needs to money so decides she can do this job, deal with this man and that her inner tigerness will hlep her get through it. . Naomi was very badly hurt by her jerk of an ex-husband and has put up walls against all men but especially towards Royce who she has fought an attraction to since she first saw him at a friends party she had planned and ran from him because the attraction scared her. Throughout this book Royce fights for her and her love like a true champion and is so wonderful, gentle, kind and understanding to her/with her. There are parts that are hilarious to read and parts that just melt your heart. I cheered for Royce throughout the book and ached with Naomi as she painfully removed a brick at a time of the wall she had built around her heart and learned to again trust in love with Royce. Very well written book by Gena Showalter, one I highly recommend to everyone. I guarantee you'll fall in love with Royce yourself - just like a little part of me did :-)
