this diet has so far helped me reduce my A1-c from 6.7 to 6.1 in 3 months with a 20 lb weight loss which is AMAZING for me. I thought the only direction the needle went on the scales was up. It is not as hard as it sounds, you can have a little sugar and still lose weight but i have to be very strict NO FLOUR. I can be full and not have cravings which helps me be in control. Highly recommend. karen
