This is a refreshing role for both Robert Walker and Judy Garland. Judy doesn't have to sing, in fact, she can play herself. She seems like a very wonderful person from the movie. Robert Walker on the other hand, he can play himself. He had played bad guys most of the time. So we have two people we really like who have a short romance. There is definitely an innocence about each of them. They really are finding there way to fall in love on short notice. Rushing things has it's pitfalls. This is definitely one of Judy Garland best non singing roles. She is a great actress. The Clock has just the right amount of time to capture most peoples hearts. It did for at least my wife and I, but we love an old fashioned romance.

this movie was fluff. I bet it packed a punch in 1945 but nowadays it seemed contrived and goofy. I wondered if Liza M was conceived during this movie since her father was the director of the movie?
