In this remarkable memoir, Price recounts scenes and events that are, without question, dreadful for any child; yet her prose shines with humor, clear-eyed grace, and an uncommon sense of resilience. Driving with Dead People is an extraordinary story with a resourceful heroine.

Definitely worth reading. A story of a life with many hidden elements that only become uncovered later in the author's life.

I have really enjoyed reading this writer's books. She's so funny, even though some parts of her life are far from humorous and she treats the sad and disturbing issues with great compassion and seriousness. She's very hard to resist and easy to like. I'm hoping she writes more.
