This is a good overview of important events in human history. Excellent for a stepping stone to more in-depth studies.
The chapter heads are in cursive which is in itself almost ancient writing.

A lot of information on discoveries that include Troy, the Rosetta Stone, Pompeii, Machu Pichu and others. Just didn't grab me. Plus, the font used for section headings within chapters is nearly impossible to read.
