A great historical primer for following much of today's global news. Some of the colour footage dates back to pre-WW I.

This is a 3-part series on this DVD.

The major archives are mined to give glimpses of:

1. The partition of India
2. The birth of Israel
3. The Suez crisis
4. The freedom of Kenya, Ghana, etc.

Narrated by Art Malik.

This DVD charts Britain's path from the zenith of the Raj to the disintegration of the empire and the rise of multicultural future it faces today.
