It's cold, it's Christmas. The Fairchild family are spending the Christmas break on Sanpere Island while Tom recovers from surgery, missing the usual hectic church festive season duties in Aleford. But, of course, Faith finds a body.
Nice incorporation of a stable, a Mary and a newborn into the story.

Book 18 in the Faith Fairchild series

This is a wonderful mystery series featuring caterer Faith Fairchild. She and her minister husband, Tom, live with their children in a small town in Maine. Faith always seems to become involved in local mysteries and murders. This is an author I have followed for many years and she has quite a few titles in the series, the first of which is The body in the belfry.

Light, entertaining Christmas read. Fans of the series will not be disappointed with Faith's latest adventure. Maine setting.

As with most of her books, enjoyable and fast-moving.
