It's ok, but could have been much better. Uses too many words to explain simple things, such as multiplying/dividing positive/negative numbers (which can be understood in 2 simple rules) Has an Index, but needs a Glossary...For example, according to the Index, the word "coessential" is used twice early on, but not defined til page 59, though even more basic terms are defined at the start. I stopped around page 25, the book is too slow compared to learning on the net. I prefer books usually, but not this one.

This book was good for it's purpose, but nothing exciting here. If you are familiar with the "For Dummies" series, you should feel at home. Formulas are clear and explantions are thorough; there is nothing special about this selection, however.
