For the princess that loves to do it all, in a sparkly crown.
Empowering for all the little ladies to do be all they can while honouring their inner princess.
I enjoyed this :) I like how the Princesses in the book can do anything they want (build a tree house, play soccer) and still wear their crowns and get dirty.
Enjoyed this book with my daughter. She loved it because it was all about princesses. I loved it because it taught her to look beyond stereotypes.
Both my 2- and 4-year old enjoyed this title quite a bit. I don't mind princess-play, but I try to strike a gender-neutral balance in our household as well. In this book, "princesses" play sports, escape from towers, and get dirty bringing in the harvest--all while wearing sparkly crowns.
My three-year-old practically wore this one out, we read it so many times. She's way too fond of pink, so I wanted to show her there was more to life. She loved the rhymes, AND that the girls could wear their sparkly crowns even when they were doing seriously un-princess-y things.
