Ivy is a twenty-year-old college student home for spring break. She's excited about a developing romance back at school and life is seemingly perfect. Her longtime friend finds himself looking for a place to stay, so Ivy and her mom take him in. Al and Ivy's friendship strengthens while her boyfriend grows more and more distant. An exquisite portrait of a young girl coming of age and finding a deeper kind of love in New York City.

This movie is an accidental masterpiece on a par with the great "Robot Monster" by Phil Tucker and "Glen or Glenda" by Ed Wood; or the movie equivalent of the masterful LP record by the Shaggs, "Philosophy of the World". How else could you make a love story between two University students, each with a vocabulary of (maximum) 20 words.

Unfortunately, this thing is slightly out of date - texting has replaced cell phones as the preferred form of social interaction. Perhaps Bradley Gray (director) could do a remake with no talking (in the sense of using English as a verbal communication device.) All that would be needed are computing device screen displays of the interaction - crossed with facial views of the actors in stunned mode.

An indie film that tells a predictable story in a fairly unassuming manner. Some interesting NYC location shots and reasonably good acting, but these positives are not really enough to recommend this movie.

Simple, low budget, film making. You know where it's going, but it is well done. It is not meant to be a slick romantic comedy. I do not know if it is a DOGMA film, but it has something of the look and feel of one: little make up, natural lighting, no costuming, natural settings, and so on. As such it is pretty good..

Movie was not done well at all. This movie was terrible “Dumb, boring and stupid.” Waste of time waste and of Electrical power.
