This is a very slooooow story read by John Rubenstein. Apparently Jonathan Kellerman uses Rubenstein for all of his audiobooks and he's terrible. All of the women have the same falsetto voice and he pauses in the oddest of places, like between a verb and its adverb. After awhile it becomes so annoying you just can't listen anymore. I couldn't get past disc one. Nothing happened. The story is about a troubled teen girl who becomes a hooker then stripper. She was a very unlikable character. Sloooooow. Some of the very odd and awkward prose includes these: "laughed threateningly", "azure-shadowed eyes", and "tongues lizarding". I thought the older Kellerman books would be better, but they're just as awful.
