I couldn't get through the first few chapters without falling asleep. Rambled. Took it back the next day.

I was mad every time I had to put this book down! I don't know if you were suppose to figure out early on who were the good guys & who were the bad guys but I did. I still enjoyed the story.

This is the first Alafair book I've read and have read all of her fathers. Loved the complexity of all the characters and the fact that you couldn't figure out who did it or that it would divide into 2 parts in the end. Suggest keeping a time line as the character jumping might confuse you.

A book of odds and ends. Ten directions at a time. One lead finished, one picks up and continue this melting pot, maze like story (stories?). She should have stick to one plot instead of trying to blind us with her domino effects. Her first book (for me) wasn't much better (Angel's tip). I will not read a third one. Read at your own risk (if you want to be bored).
