This is a 2010 documentary produced for the "National Geographic Channel."
Oceanographers have been gripped by a new spirit of discovery and have undertaken the biggest population census of ocean species ever conducted---a "Censuc of Marine Life."
When and where did the marine life begin?
Where did the water come from?
How was life created in the ocean?
How did it evolve to the enormous diversity we see today?
The film will let you travel more than 4 billion years into the past to uncover how oceans and marine life came to exist.
It is a fascinating and eye-opening documentary.

I enjoyed this one. It was quite interesting and I will add that maybe in some respects it could have gone even further in some of the details of the story.
