Very funny in parts, although I could have done without the USO tour recap at the end. I found myself 'hearing' nearly the entire book in my mind in his voice.

A guilty pleasure! Vulgar as always, but what a joy to hear his pissed-off, razor-sharp, right-on-the-money observations! If you're a theist, be warned, YOU WILL be offended! (But the author graciously warns you in the beginning!). This is a book for fans and anyone sick of the %!#$!!?%!! over-commercialized beast that Christmas has become!Well done Lewis!

Brilliantly funny book from Black, the comedian well known for his angry ranting on the Daily Show. He takes on Christmas from an outsider's point of view, often rambling off into other directions. The book's funny, occasionally uncomfortable, and has some good insights along the way.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was really funny in parts, and kind of uncomfortable in other parts. Like Ron White, a lot of Lewis Black's appeal is in his delivery. I imagined him ranting as I read. Overall, an intelligent and humorous look at Christmas from a different perspective.
