I've been watching the new Doctor Who and one day someone told me about the original series. I decided to take a break from the new and watch the older ones. I was very interested when I watched the first episode and now I'm hooked! I'm fascinated with the doctor because he is so different from the newer version; he's selfish and uncaring while the traveling companions and his granddaughter have more compassion. This is worth to watch to see the original doctor.

I'm finally getting around to catching the early Doctor Who episodes. This surprised me both with how good it was and how dark it was. Yes, the special effects are cheesy -- but the story is quite complex, and a lot of what makes the Doctor a fascinating character is already on display. If you like the new shows, you really should check this one.
