Kind of heavy on the Crosby, Stills & Nash talking heads.
Could have benefited from a more balanced context and some (socially aware) visual material.
But the self-centeredness of their music 'scene' gives us a clue as to why "the Summer of Love lasted for a minute and a half" (... 'and then we all started doing coke').
P.S. : The silent footage of Woodstock in the 'bonus' section was interesting.
Watched entire documentary in one sitting, which is rare for wife and me. Great stories told by the aging stars, and footage we'd never seen before. Henry Diltz frames everything from his perspectives as musician and photographer. This DVD and the "Who Shot Rock & Roll" exhibit at the Annenberg took us back in time.
I enjoyed this documentary but thought it was too focused on Crosby, Stills & Nash.
