A nice Christmas read for the child in all of us.

Very much enjoyed this read- fun and sprinkled with great humor. When I was a kid, I read so many children's Christmas books and missed that feeling- this was right up my alley but wasn't a cheesy Hallmark book. Highly recommend it to those who could use a little Christmas fantasy and wonder in their lives.

The true origins of Santa and the magical things that he can do are explained with cheerfulness and wonder. There is good and evil in this story, as well as joy and sorrow, scary sections and laugh-out-loud moments. It is not perfect, but it is an enjoyable, fast-paced ride. At the end, you many end up believing that Santa is out there waiting to spread a little magic and wonder.

If you need a slight kick-start to get into the magic of the season this whimsical short book would be a perfect way to do it, just add a glowing fire and a cup of steaming hot chocolate.
