I didn't even realize what this book was about until we read it, but it came at the perfect time. We recently lost our doggie to old age, and although it wasn't a human life, this story helped my almost 4 year old cope with some of her feelings. After we finished it we talked about what we would do to help keep his memory going. This helps keep the conversation going about life and death and what ultimately awaits us all without making it seem so scary.

A little girl remembers her time spent with Grandma and planting and how these special memories help her after Grandma gets Altzheimers and then dies . Touching and wonderfully written story about her bond with Grandma and planting
