Inextricably tied to Vegas in both showmanship and ideology, Flamingo is a bombastic 10-track collection of stadium-ready songs that runs the gamut from expert pop executions and forlorn electro dirges to gospel tunes and even blues-tinged rock (read: pedal steel, and plenty of it).

Excellant debut effort! I think Brandon is clearly underated in an industry clearly ruled by bubble gum beiber music... Heck anyone can sing, I think even Paris put out an album. However, Brandon is one of those voices unique and can be compared to that of the late great Freddie Murcury.

I don't know why anyone could rate this any lower than four stars. This is an AMAZING alternative album, especially for a debut solo album. 'Crossfire', one of the songs on the album has a great vibe to it.

Don't believe me? Look up the 11 million and ongoing views on Youtube for the music video or listen to 98.9! I congratulate Brandon Flowers on his success for such a great album. He's also the lead singer from 'The Killers', but like he said in an interview, he intended to make this album for more musical exploration, so it may not sound very 'Killer-like', but it still has some rhythms that are similar to it. Please try it out!
