I found the information pretty interesting and very informative, however like the previous comment, I too found the information looping itself.

If you want a more interesting explanation of this book, watch Kevin Kelly explain it on Ted Talks. Its much more interesting and direct. (Which brought me to the book)

However, if you do enjoy history and how we evolved through technology - from hunting and gathering up till now-ish, then there are many references and insight throughout this book.

I was personally looking forward to technology explained in its current state and its philosophies looking forward.

Full disclosure: I didn't read the complete book. I didn't complete it because I had others that I wanted to get to. (I felt I could better use my time than to finish this book.)

I found the prose to be fluid and easy. The author is informative and well read. The topic is interesting.

I thought that Kevin Kelly might have tried to do too much in this book. And he repeated himself lots over the 177 page that I did read. I guess the book could have been shorter.

He is a scholar and a sage, however it seemed to me that he was showing off rather than explaining occasionally.
