There are some good episodes on this DVD, and besides the poor audio quality on "Moonbase Episode 1" this DVD is quite amusing!

I had never seen any of the episodes with William Hartnell has The Doctor before. I enjoy these immensely, and he has become one of my favorites from Classic Who. Definitely worth a watch, IMO.

Good classic Doctor Who fun. You do not need special effects to make these lost episodes fun. Although not complete stories its great to see early Daleks and the beloved Nicholas Courtney with the 1st Doctor and not being Lethbridge-Stewart. Great special features including what looks to be the death of a companion not seen in the lost episodes.

Patrick Troughton, the man who was reborn as the second Doctor, is the one that oddly there seems to be the least in the way of historical record available for viewing. These two disks are filled with some of the various remains of his tenure in the role. Isolated audio tracks and incomplete adventures. Not so interesting if your intent is to amuse yourself on a Sunday evening (even if the Doctor did say once that "Sundays are rubbish") but if you are interested in becoming conversant with the entire lineage of space-traveling Time Lords, well then maybe this will be of interest.

In the late 1970's, more then half of the episodes of Doctor Who that stared Patrick Troughton were erased. This DVD holds the remaining episodes of some of those lost serials, and includes the audio track for the episodes in that serial that are missing.
