I haven't finished this book yet, in fact I am just a quarter of the way through but I feel compelled to write something about it.
I don't find this book interesting in the least. The characters are generic and stereotypical.
The conversations between the characters are drab and frankly dull. I really hope the writing gets better as this book progresses and it doesn't end up being another horrible crime novel which there seems to be a good many of. The only factor that is keeping me reading this book is the story line which when handled by a good writer I find to be engrossing.

Didn't much like the characters or the premise of the book, but the writing is so powerful that in spite of these barriers I could not put this book down.

"Parker just gets better with each book. Save this one for the uninterrupted weekend."
