After more than four decades and scores of books, documentaries, and films on the subject, what more can be said about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy? A great deal, according to this physicist and ballistics expert. This provocative, rigorously researched book presents evidence and compelling arguments that will make you rethink the sequence of terrible events on that traumatic day in Dallas. Drawing on his fifteen years experience as an experimental physicist for the US Navy, the author demonstrates that the commonly accepted view of the assassination is fundamentally flawed from a scientific perspective. The physics behind lone-gunmen theories is not only wrong, but frankly impossible. He devotes separate chapters to the Warren Commission, challenges to the single-bullet theory, the witnesses, how science arrives at the truth, the medical and acoustic evidence, the Zapruder film, and convincing evidence for at least a second rifleman in Dealey Plaza.

This is the first book to:

* identify the second murder weapon;
* prove the locations of the assassins;
* demonstrate multiple shooters with scientific certainty.

The author concludes with a persuasive chapter on why this horrible event, now almost half a century old, should still matter to us today. For anyone seeking a fresh understanding of the JFK assassination, this is an indispensable book.

I have not read this book yet. I am in process of getting into reading some of the newer (for me) JFK assassination books.

At that time I will update review and give it a rating.

But I am sick of the review shown that quotes a$$hole Thomas Mallon.

This reviewer - not giving an example of actually reading this book - gives this SAME exact response to EVERY book on the JFK assassination that doesn't fit the Warren Commission!

And I believe that is an abusive use of review process.

The lies stick out like a pink and Floresent flag, that stands out the same as a Bull Elk Would, on a basket ball court. ---- Take your time reading this Important study ---- ! ---- RichardPaul (finished 7-9-13)

To understand the full inanity of the commenter below, look into the family background of Thomas Mallon -- and you'll understand the bogusness of rock..'s comment. (Fletcher Prouty called it right, and he was in the best position to know!) [A recent, and most current, enhanced clip of the Zapruder film (youtube) was displayed at the boingboing.net site on 11/15/13, and the head shot most obviously originated from the front, above, and most likely from the railroad overpass.]

Listening to the theories, one notices the tendency of their proponents to believe that the farther away they get from the moment and place of the assassination itself, the closer they will be to it's origin. As in "The X-Files", "the truth is out there," beyond where anyone has yet looked.
