Excellent writing as one would expect from Alice Munro. However, be advised that almost all of these stories are about young women having affairs with a brief mention of what happened to their lives as a result. The affairs take place mostly in the 60's; the looking back is in the present of the late 80's. The stories stay with you. You feel that you know the characters like real people.
