Comment
Add a CommentFrom Appalachia to Manhattan an intriguing tale about the supposed magical powers of certain women in the Alley family. The author switches voices throughout so that the reader sees events from several points of view. In the end you really never quite know if things happen because they are ‘made’ to happen or if, like in most families, good things and bad things just do happen. Insightful and thoughtful if a bit whimsical
Didn't care for this book, it wasn't what I expected. Very little about the actual "witch" in the plot.
Are witches the new vampires?
