They not only save the village, but the Barrier is pushed back behind the Green Line into No Man's Land. In the process, Ayed and Iltezam unleash an inspiring, yet little-known, movement in the Occupied Palestinian Territories that is still gaining ground today. In an action-filled documentary featuring archival footage of this movement from its infancy, Budrus will inspire and challenge audiences worldwide.

From Library Staff

Triumphant chronicle of the citizens of Budrus, a village in the occupied Palestinian territories, and their nonviolent struggle to prevent the Israeli government from building a fence that would separate them from their ancestral homes and olive trees, their main source of income.

Great documentary film with a powerful message. Also a very unflattering view of Israeli methods of governance. CR

A must see movie for all. The same abuse as in WW II but this time against the Palestinians. When will it end. What happened to that famous phrase of "Never Again". I wonder.
